The Center for Arizona Policy: Promoting Family, Faith, and Freedom
The CAP mission is "to strengthen the family by educating Arizonans on public policy issues that impact the family and equipping them to promote traditional values." CAP President Len Munsil, an attorney, and his wife Tracy, a political journalist, are homeschool parents with eight children. CAP-initiated laws that have taken effect in Arizona include Covenant Marriage and reciting the Declaration of Independence in schools. You can become a member, sign up for e-mail updates and alerts, and/or volunteer to distribute monthly Family Focus bulletins at your church, which feature biblically-oriented issues and events of interest to concerned Christians.

Learning for Life: Educational Words of Wisdom
Compiled by a local home educator, Learning for Life: Educational Words of Wisdom contains quotes from our Founding Fathers, as well as rare and classic sayings by philosophers, scientists, writers, religious leaders, statesmen, and educators from throughout history. Many famous homeschoolers from the past, as well as contemporary advocates of homeschooling and education reform, are included. Readers can learn from the remarkable words of John Adams, George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, Abraham Lincoln, Samuel Adams, Ralph Waldo Emerson, Stonewall Jackson, James Madison, Peter Marshall, George Patton, Ronald Reagan, Theodore Roosevelt, Benjamin Rush, Harriet Beecher Stowe, Henry David Thoreau, Daniel Webster, Noah Webster, John Taylor Gatto, and others. “This wonderful inspirational book [is] an amazing collaboration of time-honored quotes from history's great men and women,” says Helene Charles, homeschool mom. “Teachers and parents will be amazed at the wisdom from many notables who knew how to get education at its fullest.” The book contains biographical notes, appendix and index. A must-have for parents, teachers, school reformers, alternative education advocates, home educators, unschoolers, speakers, writers, history buffs, book lovers, lifelong learners, and anyone who believes in educational liberty. No Bad Judges

This is a new grassroots organization headed by Len Munsil and funded by the Citizens for Arizona Policy Political Action Committee.
